ICC Women ODI Rankings: Harmanpreet Kaur back in top 10 after unbeaten 50 vs New Zealand, Smriti Mandhana closes in on top 3 post record-breaking ton

Smriti Mandhana is closing in on a spot in the top three. She broke the record for most centuries by an Indian batter in women's ODIs with a 100-run knock against White Ferns.

Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur made significant gain after an unbeaten 59.

India's experienced duo Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana gained in ICC Women's ODI Rankings after the ODI series win against T20 World Champions New Zealand at home. Harmanpreet who scored an unbeaten 59 in the decider is back in top 10. 

Harmanpreet went up three places to leave West Indies' Hayley Matthews, England's Tammy Beaumont and New Zealand's Amelia Kerr behind. Harmanpreet has 654 rating points, the same as Sophie Devine who slipped one place. As Sophie slipped, Australia captained Alyssa Healy moved to eighth spot.

Smriti who overcame two disappointing scores to score a record-breaking hundred in the run chase against the White Ferns closed in on the third-placed Chamari Athapaththu who has 733 rating points. Mandhana is five points shy of Chamari's tally. The top spot belongs to England's Natalie Sciver-Brunt (760 rating points) followed by South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt (756 rating points).

Meanwhile, Suzie Bates went down two places to 17th. Deepti Sharma gained one spot and is placed 20th with same points as New Zealand's Maddy Green. The most notable leap was of New Zealand's Brooke Halliday who scored a half-century against India. Halliday went up 12 places and is now ranked 24th.

Renuka moves up, Deepti holds the 2nd spot

In the ODI bowler rankings, there were no changes in top 10. Deepti is the only Indian in top 10 at second spot with 703 rating points. England's left-arm spinner Sophie Ecclestone is on top with 770 rating points. India's new ball bowler Renuka Singh Thakur went up four places to 32nd after bagging just one wicket in the series against New Zealand.

Changes outside top 10 in all-rounder rankings

In the all-rounder rankings, there were no changes in top 10 either. Deepti is only Indian in top 10. She is ranked fourth with 378 rating points. South Africa's Marizanne Kapp holds the top spot followed by Matthews and Sciver-Brunt. India's fast-bowling all-rounder Pooja Vastrakar slipped two places to 22nd whereas Harmanpreet climed two places to 33rd.

Indian players will have a chance to improve their rankings when they tour Australia for a three-ODI series next month starting December 5 at Allan Border Field, Brisbane.
