Carnage from Suryavanshi

Vihaan Malhotra fell early as well but Suryavanshi's attacking display did not take a back seat. He hit Aryan Sharma for two sixes to reach his fifty from 37 balls. Rahul Kumar's stay at the crease was cut short as he was run out. With the old ball, Schiller dismissed RS Ambrish for a single-digit score. After taking a beating, Aryan had his first wicket in the 24th over he bowled on Day 2. Trivedi departed after scoring 140 runs from 192 balls. He hit 19 fours in his knock.

Khilan’s cameo takes score past 400

Khilan Patel looked to take risks and found the fence as well. He missed his half-century by one run as he handed a catch back to bowler Malajczuk. His run-a-ball 49 featured seven fours and two sixes. The tailenders did not frustrate Aussie bowlers as the visitors were bowled out for 428.

On Day 3, Indian bowlers will look to rule out Australia's comeback and bowl them out. Devendran will be the one to look out for as he claimed a five-wicket haul in the first innings.
