Harmanpreet Kaur adds another feather to her cap
Her career has been defined by high-stakes performances that shifted the trajectory of women's cricket in India. Perhaps her most iconic individual feat was the unbeaten 171 against Australia in the 2017 World Cup semi-final, a knock that remains one of the greatest in the sport's history. More recently, she cemented her legacy as a historic leader by becoming the first captain to guide the Indian women’s team to an ICC World Cup title, fulfilling a long-standing national dream.

Statistically, Kaur's longevity is as impressive as her trophy cabinet. Her 350-match tally is comprised of 183 T20Is, 161 ODIs, and nine Test matches, solidifying her status as one of the most capped and influential figures in the global game. As she continues to lead from the front, this milestone serves as a testament to nearly two decades of dedication to Indian cricket.
With her latest appearance, Kaur has ascended to the second spot on the all-time list for most international appearances in women’s cricket. She now trails only New Zealand’s Suzie Bates, who holds the record with 355 caps, and has moved ahead of Australian legend Ellyse Perry, who sits in third place with 347 matches. This ranking places Kaur in the elite tier of the sport's most enduring and reliable athletes.
Kaur’s statistical impact is as significant as her longevity. Over a career spanning more than 15 years, she has amassed over 8,000 runs across all formats, including eight centuries. Not just this, she has also bagged 75 international wickets, proving her ability to influence the game as an all-rounder.
