India will start their T20 World Cup 2026 campaign against USA.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the full schedule for the T20 World Cup 2026 on Tuesday. Defending champions India are placed in Group A alongside Pakistan. The high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan will take place on February 15 in Colombo. 

The tournament will start on February 7, and the final is scheduled for March 8 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The two semi-finals will be played in Mumbai and Kolkata. However, if Pakistan qualifies for the final, that match will instead be held in Colombo. A total of 20 teams will compete in this edition, and Rohit Sharma has been named the Tournament Ambassador.

Notably, India will play their Group Stage matches in Mumbai, Delhi, Colombo and Ahmedabad.

Defending champions India will start their T20 World Cup 2026 campaign against the United States of America (USA), which will take place in Mumbai on February 7. The co-hosts will then face Namibia in their second clash, which will take place at Arun Jaitely Stadium in New Delhi. The high-voltage clash of the tournament between India and Pakistan will take place on February 15 in Colombo.
