Pakistan announce 15-member squad, 6 reserves for Women's T20 World Cup 2026, to take on India on this date

After a series win over Zimbabwe at home, Pakistan named a 15-member squad along with six travelling reserves for Women's T20 World Cup 2026.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announce their 15-member squad for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 and the preparatory tri-series in Ireland which will feature 2016-winners West Indies. 

Pakistan’s squad for T20 World Cup 2026 -

Fatima Sana (C), Aliya Riaz, Ayesha Zafar, Diana Baig, Eyman Fatima, Gull Feroza, Iram Javed, Muneeba Ali (WK), Nashra Sandhu, Natalia Pervaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadia Iqbal, Saira Jabeen, Tasmia Rubab, Tuba Hassan

Pakistan have also named six travelling reserves -- Amber Kainat, Momina Riasat, Sadaf Shamas, Sidra Amin, Syeda Aroob Shah and Umm-e-Hani. 

Pakistan to face India on June 14

Pakistan have been placed in Group A alongside India, South Africa, Bangladesh, Australia and Netherlands. Pakistan will begin their campaign on June 14 against arch-rivals June 14. Before that, Pakistan will play a warm-up game each against Sri Lanka and Scotland on June 6 and 9 respectively.

Pakistan are riding high on confidence after a cleansweep against Zimbabwe at home which featured Ayesha Zafar’s maiden T20I ton and skipper Fatima Sana’s fastest T20I fifty from just 15 balls. Also, Pakistan also registered their first-ever 200-plus score in the format.

One major change in lineup

This will be Eyman Fatima, Natalia Pervaiz, Rameen Shamim, Saira Jabeen and Tasmia Rubab's first ever T20 World Cup. The only omission is Amber Kainat who is featuring in travelling reserves. Experienced Diana Baig has taken her place in the squad.

Pakistan to face West Indies, Ireland before T20 World Cup

The tri-nation T20I series will kick off on May 28 with Ireland going up against West Indies. On the next day, Pakistan will lock horns with West Indies. The T20I series doesn't have a final. Pakistan will play two games each against Ireland and West Indies. The T20I series will conclude on June 4. All six games are scheduled to be held in Dublin.
