Former India captain Virat Kohli who was recently featured in the two-Test match series against Bangladesh was spotted playing gully cricket with his wife Anushka Sharma. The video begins with Anushka laying down the rules. She lists gully cricket rules after another, such as ‘body pe lagi toh out’, ‘one who brings the bat, bats first’, ‘one who hits a sixer, gets the ball back’ and such. Virat protests with ‘hatt' and 'abe kya hai ye’ to her antics but she clearly has the upper hand in the situation despite her questionable cricket skills.

Virat Kohli's last outing for India

Former India captain Virat Kohli last featured in the two-Test match series against Bangladesh where he failed to perform in the first Test match scoring 6 and 17 runs respectively in both innings. However, he was seen in good touch during the second match where India finished the Test match in just two days after two days were abandoned due to bad weather, he scored 47 and 29 not out. With his outing against Bangladesh, Kohli completed his 27000 runs in international cricket and became the fourth cricketer to reach this milestone after Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting and Kumar Sangakkara. 

After finishing the second Test match Kohli gifted his signed bat to Bangladesh veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan as his farewell gift. 

Virat Kohli's Test rankings

Virat Kohli is currently sixth in the latest Test rankings updated by ICC after India's dominating win against Bangladesh. He will now feature against New Zealand in the three Test match series and after that the 35-year-old batter will be India's vital cog for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024 which is scheduled to take place in Australia later this year.
