The endearing friendship and on-field partnership between former England pacer Stuart Broad and veteran fast bowler James Anderson have always been the stuff of cricket lore. These two legends, who have terrorized batsmen worldwide, recently engaged in a light-hearted 'Who's Better' challenge during their commentary duties for The Hundred, serving fans a delightful insider view of their relationship.

During this candid session, Stuart Broad quickly conceded that Anderson is the superior footballer and golfer. Yet, when it came to who takes longer to get ready, each pointed to the other in a humorous deadlock. On wicket celebrations, Anderson had no reservations admitting that Broad's famed "celebrappeal" easily trumps his own.

When posed with the question of who's the better bowler, the duo's reactions were priceless, reminding fans that while they may vie for the spotlight, their respect for each other is immeasurable.

Broad has recently moved to the commentary box with Sky Sports, having announced his retirement from international cricket following a grueling Ashes series in July. Anderson, meanwhile, confirmed that he has no plans of retiring just yet.

The fast-bowling duo's rapport has been a linchpin in England's cricketing successes for over a decade. Starting their partnership in 2008, Anderson and Broad have played 138 matches together, amassing an awe-inspiring 537 wickets between them. With 46 five-wicket hauls and six 10-wicket hauls, they are the only fast bowlers to exceed 600 wickets in Test matches.

Broad's unexpected retirement announcement in July 2023 was a milestone moment, marking the end of a phenomenal career featuring 602 wickets in 167 tests. His final performance was nothing short of cinematic, hitting a six off the last ball he faced and taking a wicket with the final ball he bowled. The feat earned England a victory and was followed by moving tributes, most notably from Anderson who openly said he would "definitely miss" sharing the field with Broad.
