India Test captain Shubman Gill picked up a nearly impossible catch on Day 3 of the second Test match to help Mohammed Siraj dismiss West Indies opener Tagenarine Chanderpaul in the second innings of the ongoing second India-West Indies Test at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The southpaw was 10 runs from 29 balls when he tried to play a pull shot against Siraj but failed to connect with the ball properly, and Gill, who was stationed inside the 30-yard circle, completed a running catch.

West Indies team management and fans had high hopes from Chanderpaul, who is the son of former West Indies batter and captain Shivnarine Chanderpaul, in the ongoing two-Test match series against India but he managed to score 52 runs in four innings.

The batter managed to score 0 and 8 runs in the first Test at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In the first innings of the ongoing Test in Delhi, he was dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja after adding 34 runs to his team’s total, and in the second innings on Sunday afternoon, he managed to score 10 runs from 30 balls.
Kuldeep Yadav picked up a fifer in the Delhi Test
Veteran spinner Kuldeep Yadav was the pick of the bowlers in the first innings of the second Test match against West Indies. The Uttar Pradesh spinner picked up a five-wicket haul, bowling 26.5 overs.
After opening his wicket account on Saturday afternoon, Kuldeep picked up three wickets in the morning session and dismissed one West Indies batter, Jayden Seales, in the post-lunch session.
