After Bengaluru FC's final loss to ATK Mohun Bagan on Saturday (March 18) night, the club's owner Parth Jindal was completely furious at the referee's decision to award the second penalty after young forward Kiyan Nassiri was brought down very close but just outside the box.
It was a telling moment as Dimitrios Petratos scored the following penalty to equalise the match and take it into extra time.
However, Jindal shared a screenshot of the moment and was furious at the decision and that we need something like the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for the next season.
"I'm sorry this league definitely needs to introduce VAR - some of these decisions ruin big games and influence big games - I am very proud of the boys. Bengaluru FC - you didn't lose today - this one hurts because the decisions were just shocking," Jindal tweeted on Sunday.

It was the first trophy for ATK Mohun Bagan since the merger between ATK FC and Mohun Bagan as their owner Sanjeev Goenka announced after the match that the team will now be called Mohun Bagan Super Giants in order to appease the fans' cry to remove the prefix ATK from the team's name.
