Barcelona identifies Julian Alvarez's alternative
Barcelona have kept tabs on Alvarez's situation at Atletico Madrid for a while, with Lewandowski having an uncertain future and inconsistency in Ferran Torres form. However, a deal for acquiring the services of the Argentine will not be an easy task, considering Atletico Madrid will definitely ask for a massive price.
Victor Oshimen's scenario at Galatasaray
According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have identified Galatasaray's Victor Oshimen as a backup option for the attacker position, if a deal for Alvarez does not materialize.
Victor Oshimen is contracted with the Turkish club until the June of 2029, and would also come for a hefty price, which could be around €70 million.
The Nigerian forward is having a decent form, as he managed to put up some decent numbers for the Turkish club. In 29 games, Oshimen has amassed 19 goals and seven assists.
