Chelsea legend Eden Hazard has been inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame, becoming the 26th, and latest inductee for the 2025 class.
The Belgian player clinched two Premier League titles during his stint at Chelsea. He won his first English top-flight title in the 2014/15 season and capped it off with the Player of the Season award. His second title came in the 2016/17 season, where he played a pivotal role in the club's road to glory.
Hazard becomes the sixth Chelsea player to be inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside Petr Cech, John Terry, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, and Didier Drogba. With his induction, Hazard received an engraved medallion with a £10,000 donation from the Premier League to a charity of his choice.
Reacting to his induction, Hazard wrote on X (FKA Twitter):
“For a small Belgian guy from Braine-le-Comte playing for fun, being inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame with these greats of the game at 34 years old is crazy. Thank you to all of you; I will see you soon, my friends! 💙”
He added:
“I grew up playing football for fun, with my brothers in the back garden, but my dream was always to play at the highest level. It means a lot to join the Premier League Hall of Fame. I’m very proud to join this group of players and I think we could make a good squad! I just wanted to have fun on the pitch and entertain the fans who bought tickets or watched on TV. Being recognised in this way is special for me and my family. My parents were both footballers and now my children love the game too."
Over the course of seven seasons, Hazard played 254 Premier League games, amassing 85 goals and 85 assists.
