Luis Suarez snubbed Cristiano Ronaldo's name from the list.

Suarez's list includes Romario, Ronaldo Nazario, Diego Forlan, Gabriel Batistuta and Lionel Messi.

Former Liverpool and Lionel Messi's teammate at Barcelona, Luis Suarez named the five greatest strikers of all-time as he snubbed Cristiano Ronaldo's name from the list. Suarez and Ronaldo shared a fierce rivalry during their time in the La Liga.

Football fans are always debating who the greatest players are who have played the game in their era as several names are fit to be in that category. Having won five Ballon d'Or awards and scoring a whopping 926 goals for club and country, Cristiano Ronaldo is undoubtedly the first name that would pop in the mind of all football fans who are picking the best ever to do it.

But it was not enough for Suarez as he decided otherwise and decided not to pick the former Manchester United and Real Madrid legends name while picking his best five strikers from across different eras. Having shared the pitch with Messi and Neymar, it's safe to say that Suarez knows what he's talking about while picking the best five strikers.

During an interview with Bleacher Report, Luis Suarez revealed his best five strikers.

Five best strikers according to Luis Suarez

Romario

The first on Luis Suarez's list is the Brazilian legend Romario, who is considered to be the greatest goalscorers in the sports history after having scored 700 goals during his career.

Number five is Romario. The finish time for him is amazing, Suarez said.

Romario just played 65 games for Barcelona and registered 39 goals, averaging a goal after every 139 minutes. Whereas, during his time at Barcelona, Suarez scored a goal after every 122 minutes as compared to Romario's 139 minutes.

Ronaldo Nazario

Then Ronaldo, the Brazilian Ronaldo. He’s really good. He’s so quick, he’s so fast. He’s an intelligent guy, a really good player, Suarez added.

The second on the list for Luis Suarez is the Brazilian Ronaldo. The two time Ballon d'Or winner has 371 goals in 580 appearances for club and country. He is viewed as one of the best players of all time.

Diego Forlan

The third on the list is Diego Forlan, Luis Suarez's ex-teammate. Despite having a below par record at Manchester United, he was unplayable later in his career.

For me, he’s one of the best. I played with him, [he’s a] really good striker, he played for the team. He liked to shoot from wherever you want. He’s really good and he’s number three, Suarez further added.

Luis Suarez and Diego Forlan played together for 58 times as both of them played crucial parts in Uruguay's victory in the 2011 Copa America.

Gabriel Batistuta

Number two is Batistuta. [My] favourite player when I was a child. Really good number nine, he took free-kicks, I loved his character as well, Suarez asserted.

Gabriel Batistuta was at the peak of his powers during the nineties as he is one player that is overlooked by many. The Argentine froward scored 204 goals in 331 appearances while representing Serie A squad, Fiorentina.

Lionel Messi

Number one for me is Messi, Suarez concluded.

The Barcelona legend is arguably the greatest player to have graced the field and is also a close friend of Suarez. Suarez and Messi played together at Barcelona and now at Inter Miami. They have 285 appearances together and have combined for 113 goals.
