India, a proud recipient of a gold and two bronze medals in the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games, couldn't replicate the same golden success this time around. In the eagerly anticipated gold-medal duel, the Indian contingent was outplayed by Hong Kong, culminating in a 152-238.1 scoreline.
Comprising adept players like Sandeep Thakral, Jaggy Shivadasni, Raju Tolani, and Ajay Prabhkar Khare, the Indian squad found it challenging to gain a foothold against the impeccable strategies employed by the Hong Kong team. Throughout the six gruelling sessions, spanning two days of intense competition, Hong Kong remained in the driver's seat, setting the tempo of the game.
