Alexander Zverev has reached yet another Grand Slam final; however, he has yet to win one, and this might be his chance. The tennis star and Flavio Cobolli will contest the men's singles final at the 2026 French Open on Sunday, with both players vying for their maiden Grand Slam title.

Zverev and Cobolli set for Roland Garros final for thier first major
The matchup was confirmed after Cobolli advanced to his first major final. Zverev, a three-time Grand Slam finalist, will be looking to finally break through at a major, while the Italian underdog Cobolli aims to cap a breakthrough run with the biggest title in tennis.
Zverev enters as the more experienced finalist but has yet to convert previous opportunities, having lost three Grand Slam finals. Cobolli, seeded 10th, reached the final without playing his scheduled semifinal after opponent Matteo Arnaldi withdrew due to illness, giving the Italian extra rest ahead of the championship match.
The clay-court showdown at Roland Garros marks a significant milestone for Italian tennis and offers Zverev what many observers call his strongest chance yet at a major trophy. The winner will claim the Musketeers' Cup and join an elite list of champions on the Paris clay. So, it will be seen if the German, who is the heavy favourite this time, can finally win his first major title.
