For a young boy who's just become cancer-free, meeting his idol, especially a towering, powerful athlete like Giannis Antetokounmpo, is far more than a simple photo op or high-five.
It's a profound, life-affirming moment that carries layers of emotional and psychological weight. This is what happened with Mason, a Milwaukee Bucks fan and a cancer-free youngster who just met his idol, and the video has been making rounds on the internet.

The NBA's official social media page posted a video that showed a heartwarming moment from a Bucks game where Antetokounmpo spots a sign held by 6-year-old fan Mason, who recently beat cancer, and delivers an enthusiastic high five while jokingly claiming it sidelined him for weeks. At the moment, the guard was heard joking:
“I’m gonna be out six more weeks.”
Its been a long time since the power forward was last seen on the court playing. He was sidelined for another game on Sunday when his side hosted the Toronto Raptors at Fiserv Forum. Although the Greek player did not play, he was in attendance to support his team at home. In his absence, the Bucks fell to the opponents with a score of 122-94.
