ICC announces T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up games schedule; India to play just one practice game against this team, no game for England and Pakistan

ICC has announced that 17 out of 20 teams will play warm-up games ahead of T20 World Cup 2024. India will play just one warm-up game against Bangladesh.

India's warm-up game is the last game before the T20 World Cup 2024 kicks off.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on May 16 announced the full schedule of T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up games. A total of 16 warm-up games will be played ahead of the marquee event. The venues for the warm-up encounters are Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, Queen’s Park Oval and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.


However, 17 games will play the warm-up games. South Africa will play intra-squad games whereas England and Pakistan will not participate as they are engaging in a four-T20I series. Also, Rohit Sharma-led India will play just one warm-up game against Bangladesh. The venue and the time of India’s warm-up encounter is yet to be announced.
