Next three T20 World Cup matches between South Africa vs Ireland, India vs Canada and Pakistan vs Ireland are likely to get washed out due to heavy rains in Florida, and Miami.

The next three games of the ongoing T20 World Cup which are scheduled to take place in Lauderhill, Florida are likely to be suspended due to rain. The recently concluded clash between Sri Lanka and Nepal was also suspended due to heavy rain. Now, there are high chance that upcoming clashes between Pakistan vs Ireland, United States vs Ireland and India vs Canada will likely get abandoned.

Weather reports are claiming that there are very high chances of rain in Florida. As per various reports, a life-threatening flash flood emergency has been declared in Miami, Florida. The National Weather Service of Florida also issued a warning for decisions.

According to the National Weather Service, which warned “life-threatening flooding” was ongoing. Flood watches were also extended for Miami and Fort Lauderdale until Friday evening. “Many areas are inundated with water w/ stalled cars & more rainfall is on the way,” the weather service said Wednesday night. “Stay off the roadways if possible.”

There are 90 per cent chance that India's upcoming T20 World Cup clash against Canada will be washed out. But the match is not important from India's point of view because Men in Blue have already cemented their spot in the Super 8 while Canada is not in the reckoning.

Pakistan T20 World Cup 2024 Qualification scenario

These matches will have a huge impact on Pakistan because if all three matches are washed out, then India and the USA will go through to Super 8 and Men in Green miss out. To qualify for Super 8, Babar Azam & Co. would want Ireland to win and they also have to win their upcoming clash.
