Rohit Sharma, who missed the first warm-up game against England on Monday in Dubai decided to entertain his fans on the social media. The limited-overs vice-captain shared a video on Instagram giving a glimpse of his new team India jersey for the T20 World Cup.
India will commence their T20 World Cup campaign on October 24 against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium and ahead of the exciting encounter, excited Rohit Sharma was seen flaunting the new blue jersey in his hotel room in the video.
“Jumping into my India blue,” Rohit captioned the video.
Australian star opener and former Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner was quick to react to the video and pull Sharma’s leg.
“You copying my TikTok,” wrote Warner with laughing emojis.
Both Warner and Sharma are with their respective national team for the T20 World Cup, which began with the qualifying rounds on October 17.
The two teams will meet each other on Wednesday for a warm-up game before they begin their T20 World Cup campaign on October 23 and October 24 and South Africa and Pakistan respectively.
