IPL 2022 Purple Cap: Yuzvendra Chahal's monopoly continues as eight Indian bowlers make top-10 list

Rajasthan Royals' spin wizard Yuzvendra Chahal has grabbed many eyeballs with his exceptional bowling in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 as he is in the pole position in the Purple Cap race. The ace spinner rose to his optimum when he snared a hat-trick against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Monday (April 18) as he not only became the 22nd bowler to take a hat-trick in IPL but also the fifth RR bowler to achieve the milestone. Such has been the journey of the 31-year-old spinner who has scalped 18 wickets in a total of seven matches for RR.

Chahal is followed by two more Indian bowlers as Sunrisers Hyderabad's T. Nataraja is sitting at second spot while Delhi Capitals' Kuldeep Yadav secured third place. The Indian bowlers are totally dominating the top-10 list of the bowlers who are vying for Purple Cap as eight of them have already made their way into the list.
