Gujarat Titans are set to take on Delhi Capitals at home.

Delhi Capitals are at the top of the points table with 5 wins from 6 games.

Delhi Capitals (DC) mentor Kevin Pietersen was lost for words as team's senior batter KL Rahul took a dig at him for going on a vacation. Ahead of the clash against Gujarat Titans (GT) at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, captain Shubman Gill came to meet Pietersen. Gill and Pietersen were having a conversation when Rahul engaged in banter with DC mentor.

“Hello, how are you brother? What's happening?” Pietersen asked Gill during a training session on April 18.

"It's been so long. Enjoying it?" Gill asked the former England batter.

“A mentor is someone who goes to the Maldives for two weeks mid-season (smiles),” said KL Rahul.

The video posted by the Delhi-based franchise has gone viral on social media. The captain of the video reads: "Thanks KL, now we know what a mentor does".

Pietersen did not reply on the field but came up with a reply for Rahul in the comment section of the video.

"The wise and sagacious guide of a cricket team who, through a mysterious blend of tactical genius and holiday planning, ensures the team is as adept at swinging bats as they are at swinging in hammocks. Known for the rare ability to teach the art of the perfect switch-hit and the secret to finding the best vacation deals during mid-season breaks. Often spotted with a clipboard in one hand and a travel brochure in the other. cc @klrahul," the 44-year-old wrote.
