The Mumbai Cricket Association has officially announced the return of the T20 Mumbai League, with Season 4 set to be held from June 1 to 13 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. Alongside the men's tournament, the inaugural edition of the T20 Mumbai Women’s League will also be conducted simultaneously.

The upcoming edition is expected to feature several top Indian stars fresh from IPL 2026 action, including Suryakumar Yadav and Shreyas Iyer, making it one of the most anticipated domestic T20 events of the year.

Mumbai’s biggest stars set to light up T20 Mumbai League

The men’s competition will showcase a mix of established international names and rising Mumbai talents. Along with Suryakumar Yadav and Shreyas Iyer, players like Ajinkya Rahane, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shivam Dube, Sarfaraz Khan, Shardul Thakur, Tushar Deshpande, Ayush Mhatre, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, and Musheer Khan are also set to participate.

The women’s league will feature notable domestic names, including Sayali Satghare, Saima Thakor, Humaira Kazi, Ira Jadhav, Sanika Chalke, and Simran Shaikh.

Teenage sensation Ira Jadhav emerged as the costliest player during the women’s league auction, adding more excitement ahead of the inaugural season.

MCA aims for bigger platform with simultaneous men’s and women’s leagues

All matches from both competitions will be broadcast live on Star Sports and streamed on JioHotstar, ensuring nationwide coverage for the tournament.

MCA President Ajinkya Naik highlighted the association’s long-term vision behind organizing both leagues together.

"The T20 Mumbai League has consistently played an important role in strengthening Mumbai's cricketing ecosystem and providing opportunities for emerging players to perform alongside some of the biggest names in the game. Conducting both the men's and women's tournaments at the Wankhede Stadium reflects the MCA's commitment to creating a larger and more inclusive platform for talent development and taking Mumbai cricket to a wider audience."

The tournament is expected to serve as another major platform for young Mumbai cricketers to showcase their talent alongside some of India’s biggest stars shortly after the conclusion of IPL 2026.
