IPL 2025 points table saw a massive shake up after PBKS vs RR and CSK vs DC matches

While RR defeated PBKS by 50 runs, CSK suffered a 25-run loss against DC

Rajasthan Royals (RR) gunned down Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 50 runs while Delhi Capitals (DC) continued their winning momentum by defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) which saw a massive shake-up in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 points table.

Delhi Capitals have been on a roll in the current IPL season, and their juggernaut shows no signs of stopping. Riding on an exceptional batting display from KL Rahul and a disciplined bowling effort, they notched up their third consecutive win in IPL 2025. This victory held special significance for DC as it marked their first win at Chepauk in 15 long years. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings' struggles this season continued with the defeat against CSK.

Unfortunately for home crowd, the Punjab Kings' first match of the season at their Mullanpur Cricket Stadium in Mohali ended in disappointment. Rajasthan Royals put on a strong performance, powered by Yashasvi Jaiswal's impressive 67 off 45 balls, a solid 38 off 26 from skipper Sanju Samson, and a quickfire unbeaten 43 from Riyan Parag, ultimately securing a comfortable 50-run win.

Delhi Capitals' continued success has propelled them to the very top of the IPL 2025 Points Table. They currently hold 6 points, earned through their three consecutive wins. This surge has pushed Punjab Kings down to the fourth spot after their loss to RR, despite having won two of their three matches and maintaining a positive Net Run Rate (NRR) of +0.074.

Gujarat Titans (GT) have also slipped down the table to fourth place. While they also have 4 points from their three matches, their Net Run Rate of +0.807 is slightly lower than RCB's.
