'It should be like that...': Sai Kishore addresses his on-field face-off with Hardik Pandya after GT's dominating win against MI

Gujarat Titans (GT) star spinner Sai Kishore and Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Hardik Pandya during their Indian Premier League 2025 clash at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The incident happened during the 15th over of the MI chase. Kishore started with two dot balls to Hardik before the batter slammed a four. The next delivery was also a dot ball and this is when the drama took place.

Sai Kishore addressed his face-off with Hardik Pandya as GT defeated MI by 367 runs to register their maiden win of the tournament. With this win, GT also maintained their winning streak at the home venue against the five time IPL champions.

"He is a very good friend of mine, inside the field, it should be like that. Anyone is an opponent but we do not take anything personally. I felt I was not getting as much purchase. Had to play for the team, had to bowl defensively, mixed it up a little bit" said R Sai Kishore

Coming back to the clash, A great all-round display helped the Gujarat Titans register a comprehensive 36-run win over the Mumbai Indians in their IPL at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Sent in to bat, GT posted 196 for 8, riding on a 41-ball 63-run knock by opener B. Sai Sudharsan and useful contributions from skipper Shubman Gill (38), Jos Buttler (39) and Sherfane Rutherford (18).

While chasing MI managed to score 160 runs for six in 20 overs with Suryakumar Yadav (48) and Tilak Varma (39) scoring most of the runs. Mohammed Siraj (2/34) and Prasidh Krishna (2/18) were the most successful bowlers for GT, while Kagiso Rabada (1/42) and R Sai Kishore (1/37) were also among the wickets.
