On the eve of their IPL 2025 matchup on Tuesday, April 15, Rajasthan Royals coach Rahul Dravid met up with Delhi Capitals batsman and wicketkeeper KL Rahul and they had some lighthearted banter. Karun Nair joined the two men, who are both from Bengaluru, for the conversation. Rahul and Karun walked over to Dravid, who was still in his wheelchair and still wearing the cast from his leg injury. Rahul was first congratulated by the RR coach on the birth of his daughter on March 24.

"Congratulations on the baby," said Dravid to Rahul.

Throughout the chat, Dravid and Rahul were observed to be in a happy state of mind. Rahul also quipped that there are usually people around him when he meets up with players.

"Go and meet anyone and there are 10 people around you," said Dravid.

Rahul and Karun, who were delighted to meet the Indian icon prior to the game, laughed at this.

Rahul is having a great IPL 2025 campaign thus far. The DC wicketkeeper-batter has been a match-winner for his side on a handful of occasions, notably against CSK and RCB. Rahul entered the batting order as an opener during the CSK match and helped Delhi win by 25 runs with 77 off 51 balls. Rahul demonstrated to the world that the Chinnaswamy stadium is his home field by scoring an undefeated 93 off 53 balls during a furious chase against RCB. Rahul has amassed 200 runs at an average of 66.67 in DC's first four games.
