New Zealand's star pacer Matt Henry has been ruled out of the remainder of the five-T20I series against Pakistan. Henry was named in the T20I squad for the last two T20Is but continues to remain sidelined due to shoulder injury he suffered in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semifinal against South Africa.
Henry was ruled out of the Champions Trophy final against India as well. The 33-year-old also has a left knee. It is not clear whether he will be part of the three-ODI series starting March 29.
In Henry's absence, pacer Zak Foulkes who was part of the squad for the first three T20Is has been retained. In the first T20I, he claimed one wicket for 11 runs. In the second T20I, he conceded 32 runs from three overs. He was not a part of the team in the third T20I when Pakistan chased down 205 in 16 overs.
In addition, Will O'Rourke has been retained as well while Kyle Jamieson has been released from the squad. Jamieson was named in the squad for first three T20Is as well.

In the third T20I at Eden Park, Auckland, Mark Chapman scored 94 runs from just 44 balls featuring 11 fours and a four sixes. He needs 32 more runs to leave Kane Williamson behind and become highest run-scorer in T20Is against Pakistan. Williamson has 667 runs from 21 T20Is. Chapman has scored 636 runs from 20 innings.
