The franchise has retained Indian core and now they can use their remaining RTM option on an uncapped player. MI made headlines during the last edition of the tournament after appointing Hardik Pandya as their new captain. There were headlines that Rohit Sharma will leave the franchise but the Mumbai-based team retained him for the upcoming season of the tournament.
