In a series of interesting events, India's star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has started his preparations by training in Ranchi along with former India captain MS Dhoni. The 28-year-old wicketkeeper-batter is making the most of the sessions to fine-tune his game under Dhoni's guidance ahead of India's next Test assignment.

The Shubman Gill-led side will kick off their tour to Sri Lanka on August 15. The first Test will be played at the Galle International Cricket Stadium from August 15 to 19, while the second Test will be played from August 23 to 27 at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo.

Notably, Former India spinner Shahbaz Nadeem shared a picture on his official Instagram handle, where he posed with MS Dhoni and Rishabh Pant. The social media post confirmed that Rishabh is working hard to develop his game under his mentor, who came to his rescue on various occasions.

Rishabh Pant is set to play a crucial role in India's lineup for the upcoming Sri Lanka Tests, with the wicketkeeper-batter set to claim his place behind the stumps. As India's preferred choice in red-ball cricket, the left-hander will have an important job to play in the two-Test away series.
