Team India's already jampacked FTP cycle seems to get further tightened as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has agreed to add two more T20Is to India's tour of West Indies which will be played later this year. The addition of the two T20Is will be part of India's full-fledged FTP in July-August.

India's tour of West Indies will see a total of 10 matches, including two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is (earlier three) now.

Not just this, going by a Cricbuzz's report it has been learnt that BCCI is also planning to have another ODI home series in June right after the World Test Championship (WTC) final at the Oval. However BCCI is still exploring their options as far as teams are concerned. India will either play the ODI series against Sri Lanka or Afghanistan, but the final decision hasn't been made yet.

BCCI will have to sandwich the series between WTC final (from June 7-11) and West Indies tour. Rohit Sharma-led India Cricket Team will leave for West Indies in July 1st week but the complete schedule is only expected later at night.

Barring the ODI series in June followed by West Indies tour, Indian players have a packed schedule for the following year. The 2-month long IPL is right around the corner, which will be followed by the World Test Championship Final from 7-11 June, just over a week after IPL ends. Then comes the big tournament. First, the 50-over incarnation of the Asia Cup in September, which might see India take on Pakistan up to 3 times. Finally, to round off the season, the ODI World Cup is on home soil in October-November.
