In another Premier League clash, Aston Villa secured a well-deserved 1-0 win over Manchester City, causing the reigning champions to fall to an unfamiliar fourth position. Leon Bailey's deflected shot in the 74th minute secured the victory for Villa, placing them third in the table.
Meanwhile, Villa, under the management of Unai Emery, demonstrated confidence and hunger throughout the game, overshadowing City. Despite numerous chances, City struggled to find the net, and Villa's Douglas Luiz even struck the post. The win left City with 30 points after 15 games, six points behind the league leaders, Arsenal.
