After Football, Cristiano Ronaldo shatters biggest Youtube record with 1 million subscribers in one hour

Cristiano Ronaldo who is hailed as one of the greatest football players of all time is arguably the biggest sports personality. He also has the most followed person on social media (917 million followers across various platforms and counting). He has now launched his own YouTube channel and shattered all records again. He breached the 1 million subscribers within one hour of the launch and became the fastest channel to reach that mark. The record was previously held by K-Pop star Jennie Kim.

 

“What's up guys? I have a big surprise for you. I have a new YouTube channel. Go to Youtube, search UR Cristiano and SIUUUscribe,” said Cristiano Ronaldo in the video he posted announcing his YouTube channel.

There are currently 11 videos on the UR Cristiano YouTube channel. For his subscribers, the Portuguese legend included a variety of interviews and clips. According to YouTube, the video titled "When I Met the Most Famous Cristiano" which depicts the moment when Cristiano Ronaldo saw his replica statue at the Madame Tussauds museum is the channel's most popular video.

 

In addition, Cristiano Ronaldo's partner Georgina Rodriguez appeared in videos as well. One of these videos featured the couple taking a fun quiz to see how well they knew each other. In a different video, Ronaldo chose from common options, such as naming his favorite WWE star or NBA legend. There is also a samll clip on Cristiano Ronaldo's channel in which he discusses how he copes with the enormous pressure of being one of the most well-known athletes of all time. The forward for Al-Nassr will be able to better connect with his worldwide fans and followers through his channel.
