Kylian Mbappe has sent a clear message to the Madridistas amid Real Madrid's struggles. The Frenchman has asked the fans to rather boo the whole squad and not the specific players.

The Real Madrid forward has come forward to support his club teammates Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham after they were jeered during their win against Levante on Saturday. The players received heavy protests at the Santiago Bernabeu at halftime as the team struggled despite their victory.

Mbappe spoke to the media ahead of their UEFA Champions League tie against his former club AS Monaco. The World Cup winner addressed the boos from the fans during his media appearance and said:

“Of course, it’s not Vini’s fault. It’s the fault of the whole team. That’s the only thing I have to say to the fans.”

The 27-year-old continued:

“They should boo the whole team. We have to accept it, it’s our job. We know that. "

Mbappe, while defending the players, further said:

“But you can’t single out individuals and say it’s their fault. It’s everyone’s fault. At Madrid, there are moments like this and we have to change it.”

Mbappe also said:

“What I didn’t like was that if they boo, it should be to the whole team. You shouldn’t single out one player. We’re doing badly as a team.”

Meanwhile, ahead of the game against Levante, Mbappe had asked the fans not boo the players, looking at the form of the club. According to reports, Grada fans were planning a protest following a shocking week for the Los Blancos.

The 15-time UEFA Champions League team has been struggling and went through a month during which the fans would like to forget forever. The team lost to their arch-rivals FC Barcelona in the battle for the Supercopa title.

Following the El Clasico defeat, Xabi Alonso’s shocking exit just months into his tenure stunned the fans. To make it worse, the team lost to 2nd division side, Levante, with a score of 2-3, knocking them out of the Copa del Rey competition under new manager Alvaro Arbeloa.
