Italy's reigning champions, Napoli have confirmed their stance on Manchester United loanee, Rasmus Hojlund. The Danish player arrived at the Italian club from Manchester United last summer, on a season-long loan deal with a buy back clause worth £38 million.
Napoli to sign Manchester United loanee
Napoli's sporting directors have revealed their stance on the former Atalanta player, saying that the Italian club wants to keep the striker beyond the 2025-26 season.
During a recent interaction, Manna claimed that the Italian club wanted to sign the star striker on a permanent basis by activating a £38 million clause.
He revealed that the Danish player is going to be part of the scheme of things beyond the ongoing season.
"There are no doubts. Rasmus will stay here. We have an obligation to buy from Manchester United in case of (UEFA Champions League) access... but he is in our plans regardless of this condition," said Manna.
Since joining Napoli, Hojlund found a decent level of form, as he managed to score 13 goals in 35 games across all competitions for the Italian club.
Currently, Napoli stand at the third place with 56 points in hand in 28 games so far. The Italian club will lock horns with Lecce in their next Serie A clash.
