Denver Nuggets face major problem before their clash against the Phoenix Suns as five players are listed on their injury report which includes their star player Nikola Jokic. He is suffering from an ankle injury which makes it a little difficult for him to feature against the Suns. 

Jokic has been instrumental in the success of the Nuggets. He averages 28.8 points, 12.8 rebounds and 11.3 assists per game. His absence from the clash is a big blow to the Nuggets as they hold a 40-22 record. On top of it, they are currently third in the NBA scoring (121 points per game). 

Alongside Jokic, their forward Aaron Gordon is also listed as questionable with an ankle injury, while Julian Strawther (knee) and DaRon Holmes (Achilles) are already ruled out. Zeke Nnaji is also a probable with an ankle injury. With their star players Gordon and Jokic missing from the clash, it will test the depth of Nuggets against the Suns, who are looking to climb the standings. 

Devin Booker and Kevin Durant led Suns have their own injury issues. Bradley Beal is questionable with a calf strain and Cody Martin misses with an abdominal injury. Despite having a 29-33 record, the Suns are a dangerous team as they rank eighth in three-pointers made per game (14.2) and are fourth in three-point percentage (37.8%). 

Denver will miss a player like Jokic, who they heavily rely on with his playmaking and scoring capabilities. They will hope that Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. step up and display their A-game.
