Teenage pacer Naseem Shah will make his T20I debut against India at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. In the absence of injured frontline bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, in-form Naseem will make his T20I debut.

“Recently, I made white-ball debut in ODI series (against Netherlands). I performed well in the series. Obviously, debut in any format for a player is important. It is a big match (India vs Pakistan). We all know that. I'll try to approach it like a normal match and perform better,” Shah said in a video posted on Twitter by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

In the T20 format (including PSL), Naseem has taken 44 wickets at an average of 29.93 and an economy rate of 8.17. On the other hand, in the ODI format, he has 10 wickets from just three games. He turned out to be Pakistan's highest wicket-taker in the three-ODI series against minnows Netherlands.
