Star wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant stole the show on Day 3 of the first Test between India and Bangladesh which is being played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, on September 21 (Saturday). He smashed an astonishing century alongside Shubman Gill and put India in a position, where victory appears to be on the doorsteps. During the match, a sweet bromance moment between Virat and Rishabh went viral on the internet. It is winning countless hearts on the internet and Virat's gesture towards Pant is just admirable.

Pant's record-breaking ton

 

Rishabh Pant has now surpassed former Indian captain MS Dhoni with a hundred in the match. He now has 6 Test centuries, MS Dhoni also got 6 tons but he got them in 144 innings and Pant reached this astonishing mark in just 58 innings. India posted 376 in the first innings with the help of Ashwin's ton and later bowled Bangladesh out on 149 runs to gain a huge lead of 227 runs. 

 

Then Pant and Gill's century powered India to raise their lead to 514 runs before Rohit Sharma decided to call off the innings when India's score was 287/4. Bangladesh now have a 515-run target in front of them. By Stumps Day 3, Bangladesh have lost four wickets on the score of 158. Bangladesh need 357 runs to win and India need 6 more wickets.
