Rajasthan Royals' (RR) high-profile batter Jos Buttler continued to don the coveted Orange Cap with 566 runs in as many as nine matches. Following him is Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper KL Rahul, who once again dazzled with the bat as he clobbered 77 off 51 against Delhi Capitals on Sunday (May 1). With this stunning knock, he has now mustered 451 runs in ten matches to grab the second spot.
Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad's (SRH) Abhishek Sharma took a giant leap to clinch third place as he scored 39 off 24 against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Sunday which took his runs tally to 324 in as many as nine matches.
Gujarat Titans' Hardik Pandya had a rare failure with the bat, but managed to stay fourth in the run charts with 308 runs in eight matches while MI's young gun Tilak Varma grabbed fifth spot. Varma and sixth-placed Shikhar Dhawan both have 307 runs to their names so far.
LSG's Deepak Hooda made an entry to top-10 as he has amassed 290 runs in seven matches riding on another fifty of IPL 2022.
