Yuzvendra Chahal has been the Purple Cap leader for a while now, but his lead is diminishing after Kuldeep Yadav's four wickets for Delhi Capitals (DC) against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). However, closing in on the iconic Indian spin duo is South African pacer Kagiso Rabada, who picked up an impressive four wickets against Gujarat Titans (GT) to move to third on the Purple Cap standings.
Meanwhile, Gujarat bowler Mohammad Shami also moved up the table although he only managed to take one wicket against Punjab. This continues the dominance of the Indian bowlers in the ongoing IPL season, with a massive seven players in the list.
The likes of Wanindu Hasaranga and Dwayne Bravo will be in action on Wednesday night as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) face off for a battle of South India.
