IPL 2022 Purple Cap: SRH pacer Umran Malik's 5-for lifts him to second, Mohammad Shami in top 5 as well

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacer was at his usual best against the Gujarat Titans (GT) after picking up five wickets for just 25 runs in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match in Mumbai on Wednesday. His brilliant five-fer was enough to push him into the top five, moving above fellow pacer T Natarajan into second on the points table just behind Yuzvendra Chahal

Malik now has 15 wickets under his belt after Wednesday's performance. 

Meanwhile, another bowler who did well after April 27's match was Mohammad Shami. He picked up three wickets for GT, and moved into the fifth position, pushing down as many as three bowlers out of the top five.
