IPL Points Table 2025: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) notched up a convincing six-wicket win over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on May 19. In pursuit of a target of 206 runs, SRH made relatively easy work of the chase, propelled by a lightning 59 runs off just 20 balls from Abhishek Sharma and a composed innings of 47 runs off 28 balls from Heinrich Klaasen. This win marked their fourth victory of the season.

The defeat officially brought an end to the Lucknow Super Giants' hopes of qualifying for the IPL 2025 playoffs. Despite a valiant effort with the bat earlier in the evening, LSG's campaign concluded with just five wins from their twelve matches, resulting in a disappointing end to their season.

However, the outcome of this match did not affect Sunrisers Hyderabad's standing in the IPL 2025 points table. They retained their eighth position with a total of nine points from their twelve games, having secured four wins thus far. Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings occupy the bottom two positions with six points each, their ranking differentiated only by their net run rate.

Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans' emphatic victory over the Delhi Capitals on Sunday solidified their position at the top of the league table. With an impressive tally of 18 points from 12 matches and a net run rate of +0.795, the Gujarat Titans have virtually guaranteed themselves a top-two finish as they head into the playoff stage. The Titans' qualification also confirmed the playoff berths for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (2nd position with 17 points and an NRR of +0.482) and the Punjab Kings (3rd position with 17 points and an NRR of +0.389), both of whom are now assured of advancing to the knockout phase of the tournament.
