Mumbai Indians (MI) are facing Delhi Capitals (DC) in their second IPL 2026 match on Saturday, April 4, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. It’s a special game for Jasprit Bumrah, as he is playing his 150th T20 match for the Mumbai-based franchise.
The 32-year-old fast bowler from Ahmedabad made his debut for Mumbai on April 4, 2013, against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Since then, he has become one of the team’s key players. With this milestone, he becomes the fourth cricketer to reach 150 T20 matches for the Mumbai Indians.
Out of these, Bumrah has played 147 matches in the IPL and also featured in three games in the now-defunct Champions League T20.
The record for playing the most matches for Mumbai Indians is held by Rohit Sharma, who is appearing in his 238th T20 game for the team in this match. He is followed by Kieron Pollard with 211 matches (including both IPL and Champions League T20), while Harbhajan Singh has played 158 matches, putting him ahead of Bumrah on the list.
