"A very special Thanku to the Haryana Cricket Association for being the backbone of my career. And my deepest gratitude to Anirudh Sir, who's constant guidance and belief in me shaped my path in ways words cannot express.
"Thanku to the Bcci, my coaches, my teammates, ipl franchises, support stuff and all my friends for their love and support.
Special thanks to my wife who always handled my mood swings and anger, and supported me through everything. I look forward to serving the game in fresh ways. Thanku so much. Innings over gratitude forever"
The Haryana-based fast bowler, known for his intelligent bowling variations, first burst onto the scene during the 2011-12 Ranji Trophy season. His consistent success in domestic cricket paved the way for a contract with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League. This opportunity proved to be the turning point in his career, as his impressive performances for the franchise fast-tracked his selection for the Indian national team. The right-arm pacer made his international debut in the ODI format on August 1, 2013, facing Zimbabwe in Bulawayo. Less than a year later, he expanded his international resume by making his T20I debut against Australia on March 30, 2014.
Mohit also took Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to IPL finals in 2013, 2015 and 2019. He did the same with Delhi Capitals in 2020 and Gujarat Titans in 2023, such was his legacy.
