This was SRH's second biggest win in the IPL history

SRH vs KKR Today Match Results: Sunrisers Hyderabad rode on Heinrich Klaasen's blistering centuries to bully defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders by 110 runs to end their IPL 2025 campaign on a high at the Arun Jaitely stadium on May 25. Notably, this was SRH's biggest win in the IPL history after 118-run triumph against RCB which they notched up in 2019 season. On the other hand, KKR slumped to their biggest defeat in the glitzy league's history, surpassing their 102-run loss against Mumbai Indians in 2018.

Heinrich Klaasen's historic 39-ball 105 saw SRH posting a monstrous total of 278/3. In reply, KKR batters were no match to SRH's as they were bundled out for 168 in their last match of the season.

Earlier, a record-breakinng hundred from Heinrich Klaasen and a fifty from Travis Head propelled SRH to a monumental total of 278/3. This high-scoring clash, the 68th match of the Indian Premier League, took place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday. Notably, this score stands as the third-highest total ever recorded by any team in IPL history. Klaasen's innings was particularly remarkable, as he also registered the fastest hundred of the ongoing IPL, reaching the milestone in just 37 balls.

SRH skipper Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to bat first. Openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head immediately counterattacked the KKR bowlers, with the duo storming past 50 runs in the 4th over. Abhishek Sharma contributed 10 runs, while Travis Head quickly reached 38. SRH concluded their powerplay at an impressive 79-0. In the very next over, veteran spinner Sunil Narine broke the partnership, removing Sharma for 32 runs, an innings studded with four fours and two sixes. Heinrich Klaasen then joined Head at the crease. Hyderabad continued their aggressive batting, crossing the 100-run mark in the 8th over. In the same over, Head notched his third fifty of the season. SRH then stormed past 150 runs in the 11th over. Klaasen, in particular, was in destructive form, completing his fifty in just 17 balls, hitting KKR bowlers all around the park. After 12 overs, SRH were in a commanding position at 174/1, with Heinrich Klaasen on 52 and Travis Head on 76. Head was eventually dismissed by Narine for 76 runs, an innings that included six fours and six sixes. Ishan Kishan then joined Klaasen in the middle. Narine's wicket of Head also meant he now holds the record for the most wickets in T20 for a single team. Klaasen continued his assault, smashing two sixes off Narine in the 15th over, taking the score past the 200-run mark. The partnership between Klaasen and Kishan flourished, bringing up their 50-run stand in just 21 balls. SRH ultimately completed 250 runs in the 18th over. Sunil Narine was the pick of the bowlers for KKR, while Vaibhav Arora also managed to take a wicket.

Chasing a colossal target of 279 runs, KKR struggled to build momentum, consistently losing wickets which prevented their innings from ever truly taking off. Despite Sunil Narine's strong start, scoring 31 runs off just 16 balls, his dismissal in the fourth over effectively opened the floodgates for SRH. The middle order subsequently collapsed, with no other batter managing to cross the 20-run mark. However, an eighth-wicket partnership between Manish Pandey and Harshit Rana provided some respectability to the total, with Pandey scoring 37 runs off 23 balls and Rana contributing 34 runs in 21 balls.

For SRH, the bowling attack was spearheaded by Jaydev Unadkat, Harsh Dubey, and Eshan Malinga, who each picked up three wickets. There was also one run-out in the KKR innings.
