India speedster Jasprit Bumrah, who is out of cricketing action since the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 has started bowling in the nets at NCA in Bengaluru. He last featured in the fifth Test match in Australia where he bowled in the first innings at Sydney Cricket Ground but didn’t come out to bowl in the second innings.
A video is going viral on social media where Jasprit Bumrah can be seen bowling in nets at NCA. Here is the clip. However, Sports Tak doesn't confirm anything about this clip or when Bumrah will make his cricketing comeback.
After the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, Bumrah was part of India's Champions Trophy 2025 provisional squad but was later replaced by Harshit Rana due to a lower-back injury.
Jasprit Bumrah is currently missing the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 where he is the part of Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians who lost their both clashes of the tournament. They lost their opener clash against Chennai Super Kings, and Gujarat Titans defeated them in their second clash of the tournament.
MI will now face defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for their third clash of the tournament, which will take place on March 30 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Bumrah will not feature in MI's upcoming clash against KKR but there are high chances that the legendary speedster will return in action in the middle of April.
After finishing the IPL 2025, India will travel to England for the five-test match series, where Bumrah's presence will play a crucial role for the Men in Blue.
