Arjun Tendulkar has been requested to train under Yograj Singh. Before making his Ranji Trophy debut for Goa in 2022, the bowling all-rounder trained under Yograj. Bowling with the new ball, Arjun had a spectacular debut in Ranji, smashing a century. Since then, he has not broken the three-figure mark.

In an interview with Taruwar Kohli on his YouTube channel, Yograj claimed that if Arjun trains with him again, he will become the greatest batter in the world.

"If Arjun Tendulkar comes to me now, I will make him the world’s greatest batter in six months. No one knows the potential he has with the bat. He was with me for 12 days, he scored a century in his Ranji Trophy debut. Did anybody realise?” the former India pacer said.

Arjun is getting squandered since he is a better batter than a bowler, according to Yograj's bold remark.

"Goa’s team was here. Sachin and Yuvraj told me to take Arjun Tendulkar under my wings. He stayed here with me for 10-12 days. I thought, ‘he is such a great batter, kaha isko bowling mein laga rakkha hai?’ Why are you wasting him in bowling?’ As a batting all-rounder, he will be fine," Yograj added.

Yograj is a full-time coach and he only trained his son. During his lengthy international career, the Indian icon Yuvraj participated in 304 ODIs, 40 Test matches, and 58 T20Is. Arjun has participated in 17 First Class, 18 List, and 24 T20 matches. Sachin Tendulkar's son, Arjun, has 532 runs and 37 wickets in red-ball cricket.

In List A cricket, he has taken 25 wickets, while in T20 cricket, he has taken 27. In the 2025 IPL, Arjun plays for the Mumbai Indians (MI). At the IPL 2021 mini-auction, he first joined the five-time IPL champions. In the IPL 2022 and 2025 mega-auctions, MI re-signed him.
