Preparations for the highly anticipated high-voltage cricket match between India and Pakistan, scheduled for December 10, have been finalized. This marks the 5th match of the Under 19 Asia Cup, which commenced on Friday with a face-off between India and Afghanistan.
A total of 8 teams, including India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Japan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and UAE, are participating in this tournament. Pakistan will kick off its campaign against Nepal, with both teams set to play their second match against each other on December 10 at the ICC Academy ground in Dubai. The India-Pakistan match is scheduled for December 10 at 11 am Indian time. Uday Saharan leads Team India, while Mirza Baig commands the Pakistan team in this Asia Cup.

Notably, two of India's wins against Pakistan in ODIs during the last 5 matches were significant. In the 2018 Under-19 World Cup semi-finals, India defeated Pakistan by 203 runs, with Shubman Gill scoring an impressive 102 not out in 94 balls. Furthermore, in 2020, India secured a 10-wicket win over Pakistan in the Under-19 World Cup semi-finals, with Yashasvi Jaiswal contributing a notable 105 not out.
