International Cricket Council (ICC) has made Pakistan the host of a major tournament after a long gap of 25 years. After a board meeting, ICC has released the schedule of the next ICC  Men's events that will be held in the span of seven years. From 2024 to 2031, different ICC events will be held in various nations with the United States of America (USA) and Namibia hosting the global events for the first time.

ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 has been staged at a new venue this time. USA and West Indies will be the host of the marquee tournament. This will be USA’s first major ICC tournament. After a small gap of eight months, ICC Men's Champions Trophy will be staged in Pakistan in 2025. It will be first-ever big tournament Pakistan will host after 1996 when it hosted ICC Men’s World Cup along with India and Sri Lanka.

India and Sri Lanka will host ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2026. In October/November 2027, Namibia will host the Men’s Cricket World Cup for the first time alongside Zimbabwe and South Africa.

The 2028 Men's T20 World Cup will be hosted the Trans-Tasman nations Australia and New Zealand. Just a year later, in 2029, India will be the host of ICC Champions Trophy after 23 years. The last time India hosted the Champions Trophy was in 2006 when Australia were crowned the champions.

In 2030, England will host the ICC Men's T20 World Cup along with Ireland and Scotland. After 1999, it will be the first time that Ireland and Scotland will host a big ICC tournament. In 2031, ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup will be held in Asia again. India and Bangladesh will organise the marquee event.
