ICC rankings T20I bowler Ranking Updates: Following a record-breaking five-wicket haul against Pakistan in their ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 opener, India's star all-rounder Deepti Sharma has moved up five places in ICC T20I bowlers rankings. Deepti is now placed fifth in the rankings, below Charlie Dean. The young spinner Sree Charani has jumped up five places as well, moving to second position with a three-fer against Pakistan at Edgbaston, Birmingham.

Sree went past England pacer Lauren Bell. She is only behind England's in-form left-arm spinner Linsey Smith. There is only a five rating point difference between Linsey and Sree.

Pakistan's left-arm spinner Sadia Iqbal took a major dent as she slipped five places to seventh spot.

Changes in batters’ rankings

In the batters' rankings, there were two changes in top 10. South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt moved to second place, going past Australia's Beth Mooney. The top spot belongs to Australia's Georgia Voll. India have two batters in top 10. Openers Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma are placed fifth and seventh respectively.

Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues slipped one place each to 11th and 13th as Australia's Phoebe Litchfield gained five places to take 10th spot with a half-century against South Africa. With a cameo, Richa Ghosh moved up two places to take 24th spot.

The only other batter who made a huge jump is England’s veteran opener Danielle Wyatt-Hodge who climbed six places to occupy 14th spot. The 35-year-old opener scored an unbeaten century in opening game against Sri Lanka.

Hayley becomes no.1

With a wicket and 37-ball 48 against defending champions New Zealand, West Indies captain Hayley Matthews became no.1 T20I all-rounder. New Zealand captain Amelia Kerr moved to second place after a single-digit score and wicketless outing.

Deepti has moved up two places to take third position, moving past Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu and Australia all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner. Meanwhile, Scotland skipper Kathryn Bryce move to top 10 with a 39-ball 60 and two wickets against Scotland.

More changes expected

Women's T20 World Cup 2026 action resumes on June 16 with New Zealand going up against Sri Lanka and hosts England locking horns with Ireland at The Rose Bowl, Southampton. India's next match is against Netherlands on June 17. Netherlands lost their opening match against Bangladesh.
