During his stay at the crease the veteran became first batter for Mumbai Indians to score 6,000 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 38-year-old has amassed 6,013 runs in 231 matches since joining MI in 2011.

Sherfane Rutherford drops fitness update on Rohit Sharma

After the loss against RCB, MI's Sherfane Rutherford opened up on Rohit Sharma's fitness without revealing key details of the injury, saying it looks like a hamstring issue.

"I am not sure about it. It’s a bit of a hamstring. I am not sure; I was in the dugout, so I can’t really give much information on that," said Rutherford.
