He immediately signalled to Suryakumar Yadav who was sitting in the dugout before walking off the field. He was batting on 19 off 13 balls.
"I'm not entirely sure yet - perhaps it's a bit of a hamstring issue - but I can't say for certain. I was in the dugout, so I don't have much information on it," Rohit’s teammate Sherfane Rutherford said in the post-match press conference after an unbeaten 71 in the 18-run loss.
Rohit’s probable replacement for PBKS clash
If Rohit doesn’t play against PBKS, it will be a huge blow to MI who have suffered three consecutive losses. If Rohit misses out, MI may promote Suryakumar or Tilak Varma up the order. Also, Will Jacks can open the innings if he joins the camp ahead of the PBKS clash.
