Kumar Sangakkara sends message to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi
According to Sangakkara, Sooryavanshi should look to enjoy the game and all the byproducts which come along with it. The former Sri Lanka batter advised Sooryavanshi to not think much about the failures as it is a normal part and parcel of the game and everyone is destined to face these things.
"My message to Vaibhav is simple: enjoy everything. Whether it's 100 off 35 balls, 50 off 15, or a first-ball duck -- you're allowed to score runs, and you're allowed to fail. It's part and parcel of cricket," the RR director of cricket said on the high expectations surrounding the young gun," said Sangakkara.
Talking further about Sooryavanshi, Sangakkara claimed that he is an exciting talent to watch and urged people to understand that he works really hard to improve and reads the game quite well.
"Vaibhav is such an exciting young player. People talk about talent, but they should also understand the amount of work he puts in at the nets. He reads the game really well, anticipates situations, and plans against bowlers effectively."
